Regret

I regret not letting my mum go for my graduation...she wanted to go so much. But nevermind i going to invite her to my tekong camp to see me become botak, that's when all mums become proud of their son, and also to my BMT passing out parade, to see me become a real man.

If i have a chance to study U, i will invite her to see me graduate. And i won't grad with normal results like this time, i would try to strive harder.

Ming~

If by any chance you can get to know your future or your fate, please reject it.

It's better not to know, and the chance of it coming true once you know it is higher.

At least when you don't know, you continue striving hard for the things you want. But after you know, you tend to feel depressed.

40 ways to live life better

Just want to share with you guys the following ways to live life better:

1. Take a 10-30 minute walk every day. And while you walk, smile. It is the ultimate anti-depressant.
2. Sit in silence for at least 10 minutes each day.
3. Buy a DVR and tape your late night shows and get more sleep.
4. When you wake up in the morning complete the following statement, ‘My purpose is to __________ today.’
5. Live with the 3 E’s — Energy, Enthusiasm, and Empathy.
6. Play more games and read more books than you did in 2007.
7. Make time to practice meditation, and prayer. They provide us with daily fuel for our busy lives.
8. Spend time with people over the age of 70 and under the age of 6.
9. Dream more while you are awake.
10. Eat more foods that grow on trees and plants and eat less food that is manufactured in plants.
11. Drink green tea and plenty of water. Eat blueberries, wild Alaskan salmon, broccoli, almonds & walnuts.
12. Try to make at least three people smile each day.
13. Clear clutter from your house, your car, your desk and let new and flowing energy into your life.
14. Don’t waste your precious energy on gossip, OR issues of the past, negative thoughts or things you cannot control. Instead invest your energy in the positive present moment.
15. Realize that life is a school and you are here to learn. Problems are simply part of the curriculum that appear and fade away like algebra class but the lessons you learn will last a lifetime.
16. Eat breakfast like a king, lunch like a prince and dinner like a college kid with a maxed out charge card.
17. Smile and laugh more. It will keep the nagative blues away.
18. Life isn’t fair, but it’s still good.
19. Life is too short to waste time hating anyone.
20. Don’t take yourself so seriously. No one else does.
21. You don’t have to win every argument. Agree to disagree.
22. Make peace with your past so it won’t spoil the present.
23. Don’t compare your life to others’. You have no idea what their journey is all about.
24. No one is in charge of your happiness except you.
25. Frame every so-called disaster with these words: ‘In five years, will this matter?’
26. Forgive everyone for everything.
27. What other people think of you is none of your business.
28. Remember God heals everything.
29. However good or bad a situation is, it will change.
30. Your job won’t take care of you when you are sick. Your friends will. Stay in touch.
31. Get rid of anything that isn’t useful, beautiful or joyful.
32. Envy is a waste of time. You already have all you need.
33. The best is yet to come.
34. No matter how you feel, get up, dress up and show up.
35. Do the right thing!
36. Call your family often.
37. Each night before you go to bed complete the following statements: I am thankful for _______. Today I accomplished ____.
38. Remember that you are too blessed to be stressed.
39. Enjoy the ride. Remember this is not Disney World and you certainly don’t want a fast pass. You only have one ride through life so make the most of it and enjoy the ride.
40. Laugh when you can, apologize when you should, and let go of what you can’t change.

Muay Thai

I wanted to self learn muay thai, but seems like you really need a teacher to be beside you to teach or else you will be learning all the wrong things. I think i need to exercise daily to build up my body before learning any martial arts, my body is too weak now.

I read in a forum regarding a guy who could predict the future, it was rumoured that he predicted the recent disasters. He could see the future in his dreams, and he often sent warning letters to individuals to tell them about the future. No one knows how accurate he is as everything is revealed only when the things happens. Now there is a chance to prove it. He predicted the following:

2008, July: There will be an earthquake in Japan, which will cause a tsunami of 30 plus metres high to occur as well.

2008, 18th September: An earthquake with magnitude of approximately 9.1 will rock China , simultaneously causing a tsunami of more than 30 metres to occur, resulting in the deaths of more than 1 million people. Although this huge earthquake will happen after the Olympics have ended, there will be a series of relatively smaller earthquakes occurring in China before the huge earthquake. The China government, which is more concerned with the success of the Olympics, will most likely neglect to employ appropriate cautionary measures, thus the high casualty rate. If the China government does not publicise the occurrence of these minor earthquakes and evacuate people, the number of deaths will be as predicted.

2008, 17th December: terrorist attack in America 2010: The temperatures in some countries of Africa could be as high as 58 degrees Celsius, and there will be a serious shortage of water.

July is coming, let's see if they will really have an earthquake. Of course on our side, let's pray everyday that he is not accurate la, lesser misfortunes the better, no matter you are christian, buddhist, taoist or any other religion, please let us pray together that all of the above will not be true and no future disasters will happen.

Let us do our part for issues like global warming too, as the earth's temperature will be rising to as high as 50 degree celsius before 10 years time, which is very fast. Do our best to help the earth and everyone ok?

Where?

Finally collected my graduation outfit, one more week to graduation. Wonder how is everyone doing now.

There were alot of things i wanted to buy, but seems like now everything has to change. I can't get new things anymore, i think the priority is to save more money. Everything becoming more expensive now, it's really hard to earn a living. I truly understand this after going to work. Now i have to worry if i will still have a house to live in after a few months.

Just as i thought money was already a problem in my house, more had to come. They only made me think more, worry more and stuff. Maybe in future, i will be just like other office workers slogging the 1st half of their life for money. No more dream making, no more music, no more stories, no more wife. Now i really have no time for alot of other things, just hope to go in NS soon so that i can have time to really plan the future on what i have to do to escape all these troubles now.

Anyway, a really good friend is coming home tonight, at 3am. He may be on the plane now already, maybe we can have a very good catch up time this weekend. Long time never see him, hope he is doing well. Maybe i will share with him my problems, see what he say haha...maybe i just need someone who can listen to everything i am going to say...which will be very torturous and boring.

Looks like it is time to stop being so happy-go-lucky like last time. But i will still learn the spirit of Sen, fighting and perservering to live on. I went to watch that movie wif Benjamin on Vesak day, and i really liked it. Not only the action, but also the story where Sen has to fight to collect debts for her mum who has cancer and need money for operation. But in the end, the mum still die in order to protect the dad. Then the last part Sen cried, made me very sad too. But now she will have all the love from her jap dad instead.

Maybe i just need someone like Sen in my life, who is autistic, and does not talk much. So that she can just sit there and listen to all my nonsense without complaining, even though she won't even understand a word i say. I used to advice ppl dun think too much, now i am the one thinking too much, no wonder have so many white hair.

Actually how many ppl are still reading this blog? Haha...
